Forklift Driver – Reading
Temporary Role with Potential to Go Permanent
Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm | 40 hours per week
We are recruiting for a Forklift Driver to join a busy and growing warehouse operation based in Reading. This is a temporary position with the strong possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
The role involves working across cold, frozen, and ambient storage areas , supporting the safe and efficient movement of stock throughout the site.
Key Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operate Reach Truck forklifts ideally.
Handle, move, load, and unload goods across variable temperature zones (cold, frozen, ambient).
Work in high-bay racking and at various warehouse heights.
Maintain accurate stock movement records and follow warehouse procedures.
Adhere to all site health & safety standards.
Requirements
Valid Forklift Truck licence Inhouse or Personal
Previous warehouse or Reach Truck experience.
Comfortable working in cold and frozen environments (PPE provided).
Reliable with good attention to detail.
Experience working at heights above 11 metres is preferred but not essential .
Able to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm.
