Salary £37,599 + 33% shift allowance (£50,006pa)

We are looking to recruit two a CNC Millers to work night shift with either 3 Axis or 5 Axis experience to work for an international manufacturing company supplying components to the aerospace industry. You will produce precision components using Mazak or Doosan machines. If you are a time served CNC Miller with setting and operating experience then apply today.

Duties:

Produce precision components from drawings using CNC machines
Produce accurate, high-quality components with maximum efficiency
Set and operate CNC milling machines
Work to tight tolerances and check your own work meets the required standard
Work on your own initiative and understand all aspects of the manufacturing process
Quality check all finished jobs
Clean and maintain CNC machine and all associated equipment and machine area.
Working to ISO 50001/14001/45001/9001 standards
Commitment to continual improvement in manufacturing, quality, health, safety environmental, energy and sustainability management
As part of your role you will be asked to support the Energy team and consider energy reduction and savings within the scope of your role leading to continuous improvement.Skills & Experience:

Fully skilled time served CNC setter/operator (certificates required)
Must have experience of 3 or 5 Axis machines
Able to interpret engineering drawings and follow written instructions
Aerospace experience preferable
Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment
Computer literate
Must have good attention to detail, good practical skills and excellent hand-to-eye coordination
Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team in a safe manner
Normal colour vision is required Benefits

£18.54ph = £37,599pa + 33% shift allowance
Monday to Thursday 7:30pm to 16:30am, Friday 2:30pm to 7.30pm
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
