Job Summary

As the Entrepreneurship Programmes Lead at Panacea Innovation, you will play a pivotal role in sculpting and executing all aspects of our Panacea Stars entrepreneurship programmes and events. Your remit will include the strategic coordination with delivery partners and forging key alliances with stakeholders in academia, industry, and finance. We are looking for someone with outstanding organizational and communication skills, comfortable engaging with a diverse range of individuals and seniority levels.

Your mission will be to refine our current offerings and innovate new services that align with our objectives and meet our clients' needs. Ideal candidates are dynamic, forward-thinking, and deeply committed to nurturing entrepreneurs throughout their journey. A solid grasp of essential business frameworks, such as business model canvases, lean startup methodologies, commercialization strategies, and science-technology transfer processes, is crucial.

Responsibilities and Duties

Programme and Event Management : Spearhead the comprehensive planning and execution of Panacea Stars' array of programmes and events, including boot camps, workshops, mentoring sessions, pitch events, annual Gala Dinners, and conferences.

Alumni Network Engagement : Strategically manage and enhance engagement with the Panacea Stars Alumni network.

Teaching and Mentoring Oversight : Guarantee the professional execution of teaching and mentoring by Panacea Stars staff and partners, providing stellar support to portfolio companies.

Investment Liaison : Collaborate closely with the Investment team to ensure the generation of prime investment opportunities.

Ecosystem Development : Cultivate and maintain robust relationships within the startup ecosystem to ensure a steady flow of high-caliber startup engagements.

Mentor Recruitment and Management : Recruit and manage a diverse pool of mentors to offer comprehensive support to portfolio companies.

Performance Monitoring : Track and report on key performance metrics for programmes, ensuring compliance with any public funding stipulations.

Funding Opportunity Awareness : Keep abreast of relevant funding opportunities for portfolio companies.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience : At least 3 years of proven experience in designing and managing large-scale, multifaceted events, particularly within the accelerator, pitching, and boot camp domains.

Educational Background : A degree in science and/or business is highly desirable.

Communication Skills : Exceptional project management, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.

Industry Experience : A strong background in early-stage venture technology transfer, management consulting, and/or investment is preferred.

Ecosystem Knowledge : Familiarity with the UK/European accelerator landscape and the ability to evaluate early-stage ventures effectively.

Innovative Mindset : A belief in the power of innovative science to disrupt markets and create business value.

Drive : A self-motivated and results-oriented attitude, aiming for excellence in all endeavors.
