About Miller Research

Miller Research is committed to flexible, collaborative and ethical practice. It takes pride in devising solutions that promote sustainability, produce tangible outcomes, and leave positive legacies to communities. To achieve this the Miller Research team embraces innovation and mutual learning, challenges accepted norms, and fosters a culture in which ideas can freely develop. We work with a wide variety of clients including governments, universities, health bodies and local authorities to provide research, engagement and evaluation services. A significant proportion of our work is currently in Wales, but this does not limit our vision or scope. We are proud to be an approved B Corp and take an active role in engaging with our peers.

We are looking for research analysts to become part of a dynamic, talented and socially responsible team working across a range of topics including education, health and social care, sustainable development, agriculture, social policy, and the tourism industry.

We work predominately remotely, and have team members in several locations, along with offices based on an organic farm just outside the market town of Abergavenny. Key responsibilities will be:

Report writing

Fieldwork tasks

Policy analysis

Our scheme provides the opportunity to work across a range of sectors and further develop your skills through applied research. You will be assigned a mentor from the Miller Research team, who will provide on-going support and advice on a day-to-day basis.

This position has a probationary period of three months, after which (if successful) your position will be confirmed, and you will continue progression within Miller Research.

A nine-day fortnight – at no loss to pay.

Generous holiday entitlement including paid office closure between Christmas and New Years (in addition to your annual leave)
