Job Description

Senior Infrastructure Engineer Location: UK & Ireland (Multi-site Travel Required) 12-Month FTC Are you an experienced infrastructure engineer looking to take technical ownership of a complex enterprise environment? We're recruiting a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance critical IT infrastructure across multiple UK & Ireland locations, ensuring high availability, resilience, security, and performance. Working closely with business stakeholders, global IT teams, and external partners, you'll play a key role in delivering infrastructure solutions that support both commercial and manufacturing operations. What You'll Be Doing Leading enterprise infrastructure services across multiple sites. Managing virtualisation, compute, storage, backup, and recovery platforms. Providing technical leadership and senior-level escalation support. Driving infrastructure improvements, resilience, and performance optimisation. Supporting cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives. Mentoring engineers and contributing to infrastructure projects and transformation programmes. What We're Looking For Strong enterprise infrastructure experience within complex IT environments. Expertise in Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, VMware, and enterprise networking. Experience with backup, disaster recovery, storage, and data protection solutions. ITIL Foundation (or equivalent experience). Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Technical leadership experience and a passion for mentoring others.
