Machine Operator

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator to join our clients manufacturing team based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, requiring candidates who are physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work rotating double-day shifts.Key Responsibilities:Operating and monitoring production machinery safely and efficientlyLoading materials and products onto machinesConducting quality checks to ensure products meet company standardsMaintaining a clean and organised work areaFollowing all health and safety procedures at all timesReporting any machine faults or production issues to supervisorsAssisting with general production duties as requiredCandidate Requirements:Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is preferred but not essentialPhysically fit and healthy, as the role involves prolonged periods of standing and moving throughout the shiftAble to work in a fast-paced production environmentGood attention to detail and commitment to qualityReliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a teamMust own and wear safety shoes/steel-toe safety footwearIt would be helpful if candidates had experience of PPT.Working Hours:Rotating Double-Day Shift Pattern (Monday to Friday):Week 1: 5:30am 2:00pmWeek 2: 2:00pm 10:30pmApplicants must be flexible and able to work both shift patterns on a rotating basis.What We Offer:Competitive hourly payOngoing work with potential for permanent opportunitiesFull training providedSupportive team environmentFree onsite parkingIf you are a motivated individual looking for a long-term opportunity within a well-established manufacturing business, we would like to hear from you.JBRP1_UKTJ
