About The RoleA top hedge fund in London is looking for the top Java contractors (also seeing exposure to OO python) in the city to build out brand new stress testing functionality to the major market risk system of the entire firm globally. They’re replacing a legacy system with a next-generation platform utilizing bleeding-edge tech and a fundamental cloud-first mentality.This is a multi-year programme of work allowing the successful candidate to see daily business interaction in a genuinely tech-driven environment amongst a group of incredibly high calibre engineers.Required:3+ years Java development experience in an enterprise environment.Market Risk and/or Stress Testing exposure in an enterprise environment.Strong Computer Science, Engineering (or a related subject) background.Able to work in a modern software engineering environment, using Agile and DevOps methodologies and tools including Scrum, git and CI/CD.Benefits:Market-leading contract day rates.Strong appreciation for work-life balance with a massive emphasis on culture-driven values.Ability to work from home some of the time when required.The opportunity to work for a global market-leading hedge fund with an incredibly passionate pool of developers.Please email [email protected] for more information.
