Job Title: Senior C# Software Developer (Fixed-Term Contract – 8 Months) Job Description This client are looking for experienced Senior C# Developer to take ownership of a business-critical, internally developed investment platform within a well-established investment management environment. Over an 8-month period, you will maintain, enhance, and support core systems while contributing to a variety of wider technology initiatives. The position is based in Canary Wharf, London, with a hybrid working pattern of two days per week in the office and three days remote. Responsibilities

Manage, maintain, and enhance the internally developed investment platform, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.

Deliver high-quality software development across a range of business-critical applications using C# and .NET.

Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for the investment platform and related systems.

Collaborate closely with stakeholders across technology and the wider business to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Contribute to additional technology projects and ad-hoc initiatives in line with evolving business needs.

Support the continuous improvement of development practices, processes, and system performance.

Work independently to take ownership of technical deliverables, ensuring work is completed to agreed standards and timelines.

Adapt to a variety of tasks beyond core development, including systems engineering, data-related work, and operational support where needed.

Essential Skills

Strong commercial experience developing applications using C# and the .NET framework.

Good working knowledge of Python for scripting, integration, or complementary development tasks.

Good working knowledge of SQL for querying, managing, and optimising data within relational databases.

Proven experience supporting and enhancing existing business-critical systems in a production environment.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

Ability to work independently, taking full ownership of technical deliverables and priorities.
