We’re looking for an ambitious Associate Structural Engineer to join our London Structures team and play an important role in our continued growth.What does the role involve?We are a people-focused team, and we believe that successful projects are built on strong relationships, collaboration and trust. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with others, takes pride in their work and wants to make a positive contribution to our team and the projects we deliver.This is an opportunity to take a leading role in project delivery, develop strong client relationships and support the growth of less experienced engineers. You’ll work alongside talented colleagues on a varied portfolio of projects, providing practical, high-quality and sustainable structural engineering advice.To be successful in this role, you’ll:Be a qualified Structural Engineer and a Chartered Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers/ICEHave experience in a comparable role, with a strong focus on technical leadership and clear design communication.Have excellent engineering and design skills, and be confident using digital design and analysis tools.Have good knowledge and understanding of UK codes of practice, design standards, Building Regulations and health and safety requirements.Have strong written and verbal communication skills.Take a practical and collaborative approach to problem-solving.Be commercially aware and confident developing positive relationships with clients and project teams.Be a positive role model who is keen to support and develop less experienced engineers.
