Construction Administrator required for one of my clients who are based in Exeter. Immediate start to do a hand over for a weeks then 2 weeks holiday cover.
Role Summary
Administrators support the smooth running of offices by carrying out clerical tasks and projects. As an administrator in the construction industry you could be organising project meetings, typing up documents, responding to business enquiries and providing customer service.
Main Responsibilities
Providing full administration support to the Project/Commercial team
Maintaining physical and electronic files or other organisational system
Managing the supplier approval system
Providing clerical and administrative support for the site.
Answering questions on departmental services and functions
Raising purchase orders – ad-hoc
Validation of supplier invoices, raising purchase orders for sub-contractors and agency site personnel
Updating relevant order processing system (SAGE)
Booking accommodation when required
Validation and processing of expenses on ExpenseIn
Any other tasks as required
Person Specification
Excellent attention to detail
Computer literate and confident in MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Highly organised – good time management skills
Ability to prioritise workload
Driven and focused
Be able to cope with a fast-changing environment
Be able to deal with pressure
Excellent customer service
Initiative taking and can-do attitude.
Commercial awareness
Experience of using SAGE
Knowledge of Microsoft applications
Experience in a Construction based role -Validating
Knowledge of Share Point (Desirable)
