POSITION DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

In alignment with our growth strategy, we are focused on enhancing the development and expansion of our SAP business sector. Our goal is to invest in our capabilities and services to attract new customers within the upper mid-market and lower enterprise space while meeting the demands and requirements of our existing clientele.

For this purpose, we are seeking a SAP Pre-Sales Trainee Consultant to join our Business Development team. This role will primarily support our Heads of Industry and SAP Pre-Sales Principals in implementing our strategic objectives.

This position offers the unique opportunity to contribute to various key business development functions including Pre-Sales support, service design, and the refinement of our Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy. It is ideal for individuals who are eager to embark on a career in business development and SAP solutions, offering a platform for growth and skill development within a supportive and dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pre-Sales Support and Service Design:

Assist the nominated bid manager in crafting high-quality, timely RFP responses.

Participate in system demonstrations, client engagement, and presentations throughout the sales lifecycle under guidance.

2. Refinement of GTM Strategy:

Assist in evolving our SAP GTM strategy through service portfolio enhancement, including advisory services, service packages, and innovations.

Support in articulating our ‘Fit4Future’ advisory services and ‘Run Better’ packages to target both upper mid-market and lower enterprise segments.

3. Solution Advisory Support:

Contribute to Solution Advisory engagements by supporting senior team members in acting as trusted advisors for customers’ SAP solutions.

Assist in developing transformation roadmaps and documenting potential transformation opportunities.

4. Collaboration and Content Development:

Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support SAP propositions, including the development of digital content, social media engagement, and event participation.

Support in preparing compelling SAP proposals and client presentations.

5. Process Optimisation within Business Development:

Assist in managing internal tools and systems to enhance team efficiency and content quality.

Contribute to internal process improvements to enhance team productivity and customer engagement.

Personal Profile – Skills and Competencies:

Core Skills & Competencies:

Willingness to gain a foundational understanding of SAP solutions with a commitment to pursue SAP Pre-Sales certifications.

Willingness to develop strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Word skills to support the team

Eagerness to learn and contribute to team objectives.

Soft Skills:

Developing Pre-Sales skills with an emphasis on facilitation, presentation, and communication.

Ability to assist in creating and presenting PowerPoint collateral for customers and prospects

Ability to assist in the development of written Word RFP responses to customers and prospects

Willingness to build relationships at various levels within customer organizations.

High level of motivation and adaptability in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Support in developing and delivering SAP system demonstrations under supervision.

Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.

Demonstrates an organised and professional approach to communication and presentations.

GENERAL
