Town Planner

Our client is looking for a passionate and dynamic Town Planner to join an innovative and joyful team in a vibrant West London location. The successful Town Planner will be a valued member of a supportive, collaborative team with a creative role integral to this thriving and inclusive company. Key responsibilities of the Town Planner:
Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the planning process.
Collaborative and proactive engagement with internal stakeholders in the Development Team, Architects, Contractors, and Surveyors.
Efficiently and effectively oversee the planning process to produce sound planning advice and applications reducing the likelihood of challenge and enhancing the probability of success and approval.
Communicate updates and risks effectively to the Head of Development, Development Team, and other relevant stakeholders.
Foster strong partnerships to streamline planning processes and enhance success rates.
Act as a brand ambassador, establishing positive relationships with national/local authorities and key stakeholders to develop an understanding of the environmental and commercial benefits
Approach tasks with a proactive, positive attitude to achieve goals effectively.
About you:
Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) membership.
Experience in client-side or planning consultant role.
Confident, enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills.
Passion for innovation and collaborative problem-solving.
Skilled in handling challenging conversations and achieving effective resolutions with both internal and external stakeholders.
Happy to travel throughout the UK.
The Town Planner’s Package:
£35,000 plus discretionary annual bonus
