Network Engineer

Job Description

Work as part of the Cyber Remediation Project Team delivering time-bound outcomes.Provide technical input into work packages, plans, and risk assessments.Coordinate remediation activity with clinical teams to minimise disruption to patient care.Participate in change control processes and ensure all work is documented and authorised.Provide advanced support for network outages, performance issues, or security incidents during the project period.Assist with root cause analysis and post-incident improvements.Support knowledge transfer to internal network and cyber teams.Update network diagrams, configuration documents, and asset registers.Ensure all changes follow Trust IT policies, IG standards, and NHS cyber frameworks (NCSCS, DSPT, NHS Secure Boundary requirements where applicable).Maintain accurate records of remediation actions, impact assessment, and test results.
