Job Description

Progressive Water Supervisor role available now. Within a fast paced, highly successful Mechanical Team.

Bring your Water Safety expertise to a thriving Healthcare contract and take on a highly responsible technical role supporting one of London’s largest and most complex acute healthcare estates.

Use your judgement and experience to influence standards, strengthen technical capability and develop others, while continuing to build your own experience across Water Safety, assurance and technical leadership.

The role is focused on ensuring that all prescribed inspections, maintenance activities, monitoring regimes and remedial actions are delivered in a compliant and auditable manner across the Trust estate. The postholder will supervise delivery teams and specialist contractors, provide technical guidance and mentoring to Competent Persons (CPs), investigate non-conformances, and ensure risks are identified, assessed and escalated appropriately.

Ideal qualifications;

* Legionella management and water hygiene training.

* HNC/HND, NVQ Level 4/5 or equivalent technical qualification in Engineering, Building Services, Water

* Hygiene or Estates-related discipline.

Person Specification/Requirements:

* Experience working within water hygiene, water safety or healthcare estates compliance.

* Detailed knowledge of: HTM 04-01, ACOP L8 and HSG274

* Experience investigating non-conformances and implementing corrective actions.

* Experience maintaining compliance records and digital management systems.

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
