The Recipe (About the Role) As Engineering Manager, you will lead all engineering activity across the site, ensuring equipment and facilities operate safely, reliably, and efficiently. You'll inspire and develop a team of Lead Engineers and Multi-Skilled Engineers, creating a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Combining strategic leadership with operational oversight, you will embed strong engineering standards, statutory compliance, and safe systems of work, while driving asset reliability, reducing downtime, and optimising site performance. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in developing engineering capability and delivering sustainable business results.

Lead and develop the engineering team to deliver safe, reliable and high-performing operations.

Ensure compliance with engineering standards, legal requirements and safe systems of work, including Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER), Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR), Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV), Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) and Permit to Work processes.

Drive rapid resolution of equipment breakdowns, effective maintenance planning and accurate use of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Lead continuous improvement activities to enhance equipment reliability, asset performance and engineering processes.

Manage capital projects and new equipment commissioning, ensuring safe implementation and alignment with long-term asset care standards.
