Finance Analyst

My client is a fast growing facilities role based in the Accrington area. This is a newly created role to assist the finance team after acquisition and therefore big growth. The successful candidate needs to be able to analyse large amounts of data and understand the story behind the numbers. You will also be able to present financial information to the senior Management Team.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller duties will include:
Conduct analysis over a range of projects to support management decisions
Prepare presentations on data to senior management
Provide analysis on sales trends by sector
Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts
Participate in financial audits
Prepare monthly management accounts for European entities
Assist in month end reporting
Assist with any other adhoc reporting when required
The right candidate for the role will be;
Qualified Accountant/QBE
Previous experience in a Finance Analyst or Management Accountant role is essential
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience working to tight deadlines
This role will include some travel aboard (Europe and not too often)
Confident using Excel (vlook ups, Sumifs minimum)
