Data Engineer (Snowflake)

Job Description

Salary: £51,000 - 91,000 per year

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing and implementing Snowflake data warehouse solutions
  • Strong SQL/T-SQL and data modelling skills
  • Experience with Python and ETL development
  • Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms
  • Experience working within Agile environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Desirable: Terraform, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes and DevOps practices
  • Certifications: SnowPro Core
  • AWS Data Engineer Associate and/or Microsoft Azure Data Engineer certifications are highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and optimise Snowflake data warehouse solutions
  • Develop scalable ETL pipelines and data models
  • Integrate Snowflake with Azure and AWS
  • Optimise data performance, quality and security
  • Collaborate with customers and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Act as the Snowflake technical SME within delivery teams
