Engineering Director – Roles & Responsibilities
The role is part of the leadership level of the business and reports to the Managing Director.
Main Purpose of Job:
The Engineering Director will have both strategic, technical and operational responsibilities, including providing expert engineering guidance in the Company, managing engineering projects and being involved with developing new products/methods for the Company.
Key Responsibilities:
expert engineering guidance within the Company in areas such as manufacturing and inspection.
the production life cycle from drawings receipt to part delivery, in accordance with relevant specifications.
and implementing effective and efficient production processes for the Company.
to define the strategic direction of the Company.
Skills and Qualifications/experience:
qualified or an equivalent level of competence.
least 10 years commercial and technical experience in an engineering environment that provides products for the Aerospace Industry.

high level of commercial and strategic awareness with understanding of financial management and analytical skills.
