Our client is a successful and growing managed services provider looking for an IT Service Engineer to join their busy Service Desk team.

This is a great opportunity for an IT professional looking to develop their career while gaining exposure to Windows, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Active Directory, networking, servers, virtualisation, cloud and cybersecurity .

The Role

Provide 1st line IT support by phone and email.

Manage and resolve 20+ tickets per day , working within agreed SLAs.

Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, email, connectivity, printers, telephony and third-party applications.

Take ownership of tickets through to resolution and keep customers updated.

Escalate more complex issues where required.

Deliver a consistently high level of customer service.

About You

Previous Service Desk / Help Desk / IT Support experience, ideally around 1 year.

Good knowledge of Windows desktop environments .

Experience with Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online .

Exposure to Active Directory .

Understanding of PC hardware, LAN/Wi-Fi and connectivity.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Logical approach to troubleshooting with a proactive, can-do attitude.
