Ensure internal and external reporting deadlines are met on time and to the required level of quality
Accounts are always compliant with IFRS and/or local accounting standards
Co-ordinate the month-end close of the financial ledgers and the preparation of the financial statements for the assigned entities, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and present to the CFO for signature
Ensure creation and posting of Journals entries and perform SAP month-end activities as per the month-end calendar
Ensure completion of reporting (Intercompany, Inventory, Financial Reporting) to Group deadlines
Ensure completion of the monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
Ensure performance and document monthly analysis of Balance Sheet and P&L for all in-scope companies, documenting and communicating points of significance or material movements to relevant stakeholders
Ensure presentation of the Balance Sheet(s) to Controllers on a periodic basis, highlighting and resolving accounting matters
Analyse non-COI movements, liaise with Group departments to ensure correct presentation
Present Financial Statements to CFO for signature
Actively manage Budget and Forecast process for Balance Sheet level submissions (Trade Working Capital, Tax, Cash Flow) or any other Budget and Forecast submission where consolidation is required
What you'll need to succeed
You'll have previous team management experience ideally gained working within large international businesses.
Strong ERP systems and analysis skills
