Site Supervisor

Bridge Education is seeking a reliable and proactive School Site Supervisor to join a well‑maintained site in Blackburn. The role focuses on ensuring a safe, secure and well‑presented environment for pupils, staff and visitors. This part‑time, long‑term position is ideal for a cleaner or someone looking for a stable, school‑based role.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caretaking, facilities, maintenance or a similar role
• Basic DIY and maintenance skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Reliable and proactive approach
• Good communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Enhanced DBS on the Updated Service or willingness to apply

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs across the school site
• Ensure site security, including opening and closing the premises
• Conduct regular health and safety checks
• Maintain cleanliness of internal and external areas
• Liaise with contractors and external providers where required
• Support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the school site
