Job Description

Banana Moon Day Nurseries is seeking passionate and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join our vibrant team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children in our care.

Key responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering engaging educational activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Caring for and supervising children at all times to ensure their safety and well‑being
  • Working closely with parents to provide updates on their child's progress and development
  • Creating a warm and inviting atmosphere where children can thrive and flourish
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share ideas and best practices
  • Maintaining and organizing the learning environment and resources
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities

Available full‑time and part‑time schedules

  • 10‑hour shift
  • 8‑hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability

Requirements

  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with children and parents
  • Passion for early childhood education and dedication to providing high‑quality care
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as required
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
