This newly renovated care home is looking for experienced Care Assistants with a grounded knowledge in Care so you can easily slot into a well-established team. This home caters for elderly residents with Dementia related illnesses and Elderly Care.

You are expected to deal with the residents with care, respect and empathy ensuring they have a good quality of life. If you are an enthusiastic individual that thrives in a dynamic, well-motivated team environment, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering personal care when required, ensuring their comfort and hygiene needs are met, ensuring the dignity of all residents.
• Follow individualised care plans precisely to meet the unique physical and emotional needs of each resident.
• Complete logs, reporting accurately and highlighting issues as they come up.
• Work effectively and professionally alongside the existing care team.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in a residential or elderly care setting is essential.
• An empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing essential paperwork.

For this role, you must have;

• A minimum of 3 months experience in a Care environment
• A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service or the facility to pay for one upfront
• All relevant mandatory training up-to-date and ideally certificates to show for this or we can assist you to access online training platforms.
• Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
• A passion to make a difference

Rates of pay are £12.75 to £13.49 per hour. Other shifts are available at premium rates. You will also accrue up to 28 days paid holiday per year.

Shift times are:-

• Days – 0700 to 1430
• Afternoons – 1400 to 2130
• Nights – 2100 to 0730

Weekday shifts are available on request, especially to cover bank holidays.
