Site Engineer

Job Description

Site Engineer - Freelance

Location: Newcastle

Rate: £350 per day

Duration: 4 months

Sector: Civil Engineering / Section 278 Works

Bond Recruit are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer for a 4-month freelance position in Newcastle.

The project is working with an established civil engineering contractor delivering Section 278 works, including highways, drainage, kerbing and associated infrastructure works.

Responsibilities

  • Setting out for highways, drainage, kerbs and associated civils works
  • Working from drawings and specifications
  • Producing and maintaining accurate site records
  • Quality assurance and as-built surveys
  • Liaising with site management, subcontractors and the wider project team
  • Ensuring works are delivered accurately and safely

Requirements

  • Previous Site Engineer experience on civil engineering projects
  • Strong experience with Section 278 / highways works
  • Confident using robotic total stations and GPS
  • CSCS card
  • Own laptop with AutoCAD preferred
  • Able to work independently on site

Rate: £350 per day

Duration: Approximately 4 months
