Group Stock Controller

The Opportunity
This is a highly visible role, reporting directly to the Operations & Finance Director, where you'll be responsible for overseeing stock management across multiple warehouse locations. You'll work closely with the warehouse team and senior management to ensure stock accuracy, maximise warehouse capacity and continuously improve operational performance.
This position offers the ideal blend of strategic planning and hands-on operational involvement, giving you the opportunity to shape processes, drive efficiencies and contribute to the future growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing stock across multiple warehouse locations, ensuring accuracy and availability at all times.
Analysing warehouse capacity and optimising storage layouts to maximise space and efficiency.
Coordinating stock movements between sites to support customer demand and operational requirements.
Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring company stock control procedures are consistently followed.
Leading and supporting regular stocktakes, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
Monitoring and auditing third-party warehouse providers to ensure stock accuracy and service standards are maintained.
Forecasting stock requirements to support production planning and business growth.
Analysing slow-moving stock, batch splits and expiry dates to minimise waste and improve stock rotation.
Producing meaningful reports and analysing large data sets to support business decisions and KPI reporting.
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across stock management and warehouse operations.
