ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR – LARGE SCALE PROJECTS
Permanent | Remote
Salary: €65,000–€80,000 per annum or local currency equivalent, depending on experience
Occasional travel for office, tender and project meetings
Copius Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to support the tendering and pre-construction delivery of multiple large-scale projects across Ireland, the UK and Europe.
This is a key commercial position for an estimator who can take ownership of electrical tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission and operational handover. You will prepare accurate and competitive estimates, complete detailed take offs, engage with suppliers and subcontractors, assess commercial and technical risk and present clear tender recommendations to the Commercial Director.
The position is primarily remote and is open to suitably experienced candidates based in the UK, Ireland or an eligible EU location. Occasional attendance at a Copius office, client meeting or project location will be required.
The opportunity
You will work across technically complex electrical packages within sectors such as data centres, power and energy, renewables, life sciences, industrial construction and other mission critical environments.
You will have genuine ownership of your tenders, direct access to senior commercial decision makers and the opportunity to influence the projects Copius pursues and delivers.
Key responsibilities

Manage electrical estimates and tenders from initial enquiry through to submission, clarification and handover.

Review invitations to tender, drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, scope documents and commercial requirements.

Complete detailed electrical quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, BIM information and other tender documentation.

Build comprehensive estimates covering labour, materials, plant, subcontract packages, preliminaries, overheads, risk and contingency.

Issue enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors and obtain accurate, competitive quotations.

Review, compare and normalise supplier and subcontractor proposals to confirm full scope coverage.

Develop labour constants, material rates and project-specific pricing assumptions.
