??Henlow | ??£22.12 PAYE / £29.70 Umbrella | ?37 Hours | ??12-Month Contract

Join a leading defence manufacturer supporting the assembly, inspection and testing of advanced engineering products used on critical defence programmes. This is a hands-on role within a highly skilled manufacturing environment offering long-term career prospects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, inspect and certify products to engineering standards.
  • Complete manufacturing documentation and data packs.
  • Use tools, gauges and measuring equipment.
  • Support production, repair and modification activities.
  • Work from engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety and workmanship standards.

Essential Qualifications

Either:

  • Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship (Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing)

Or

  • Level 3 Engineering Qualification (ONC, Diploma or equivalent) and NVQ Level 3

Essential Experience

  • Manufacturing, Production or Assembly Technician background
  • Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Assembly
  • Engineering Production Environment
  • ESD Awareness/Training

Live Build Manufacturing Technician

  • Build, inspect and certify products to required engineering and quality standards.
  • Carry out production, repair and modification work using a range of tools and measuring equipment.
  • Follow engineering drawings, manufacturing instructions and test specifications.
  • Complete manufacturing documentation and maintain accurate production records.
  • Support safe working practices while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities and work closely with the wider manufacturing team.
