Job Description

Are you an experienced senior support worker or a motivated support worker looking for a new challenge? If youre someone who is energetic, calm in stressful situations and champions building genuine, trusted relationships, this could be the role for you. Come and join our friendly team to support a young man in his family home and in the community.

Salary range £32,760- £35,000 Full time 35 hours per week (higher end if working at weekends)

Hours: fixed hours to be agreed - between 20 and 35 hours per week (Shifts available are Mondays to Fridays 4-10pm; Saturdays/Sundays 7 to 9 hours up to 10pm (hours can be discussed)

What you will be doing:

Supporting daily routines from morning support to bedtime including all daily activities and all aspects of personal care

Planning fun, person-centred activities that boost wellbeing

Contributing to tailored support plans

Building therapeutic relationships that truly make a difference

Keeping accurate support notes

Preparing and administering medication

Supporting walks and other activities in the community

Performing light household duties

There is plenty of scope for the role to develop to take on more tasks including managing the care plan and progress to a team leader role if this is of interest.
