About the role

Provide an efficient, professional and customer-focused administrative and operational support service to the Trading team and shops. The role will be responsible for managing public enquiries, coordinating deliveries and collections, supporting shop and warehouse operations, and assisting with EPoS, stock control, banking and supplier administration.

You’ll be

The postholder will deliver excellent customer service and act as the first point of contact for incoming public enquiries by telephone and email. They will respond to calls and email enquiries in a professional, timely and confident manner, resolving matters at the first point of contact wherever possible and escalating issues to the appropriate manager when required. The role will involve taking accurate messages and ensuring information is communicated promptly to relevant colleagues when calls are redirected. The postholder will coordinate furniture delivery and collection bookings, ensuring schedules are accurate and up to date, and provide an initial sympathetic and professional response to complaints before escalating matters to Trading Managers for logging, investigation and further response. They will also work closely with the Warehouse Manager to coordinate cover for incoming public enquiries and share relevant information regarding deliveries and collections.
