Hourly Rate: £14.25 per hour Mondays through till Saturdays, and £14.75 per hour on Sundays.

Hours Per Week: Bank worker - day shifts: 09:30 till 21:30 & night shifts: 21:30 till 09:30

ABOUT THE ROLE

I am a young man with physical and learning disabilities, as well as severe epilepsy. I live at home with my family in the Newark area of Nottinghamshire.

I am looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join my established team and support me with my care needs throughout the day and night.

I will need you to assist me with all aspects of my personal care and daily needs, including PEG feeding, medication administration and care, moving and handling, ventilation, and suctioning.

ABOUT YOU

You will be joining my established team, who provide me with 2:1 support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I am looking for someone who is positive, enthusiastic, caring and patient, with experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities.

I need you to be a strong communicator who is trustworthy, respectful and able to work well as part of a team. Most importantly, I am looking for someone who has a genuine commitment to the role and to providing me with high-quality, person-centered support.

It is important to me that we get along well, as companionship is a key part of this role. I am therefore looking for someone who is friendly, approachable and able to build a positive relationship with me.

Experience of working with someone with complex needs and providing support in their own home would be desirable, but is not essential, as Solo will provide you with comprehensive training.

I need you to be flexible with your working hours to meet my needs. This will include working weekends and bank holidays, as well as providing cover for staff holidays and sickness when required...
