Telehandler Operator – SunderlandJob DescriptionWe are currently looking for an experienced Telehandler Operator to join a busy construction site in Sunderland for approximately 2 weeks.The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a telehandler, assisting with the movement and handling of materials around site and supporting the wider site team with general telehandler duties.Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperating a telehandler safely and efficiently.Loading, unloading and moving materials around site.Assisting trades and site management with material movements.Carrying out daily safety and equipment checks.Following all site health and safety procedures.Keeping the work area tidy and safe.Carrying out other general telehandler duties as required by the Site Manager.RequirementsValid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification.Relevant experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.Full PPE required.Previous construction site experience essential.Job DetailsStart: Thursday 24 September 2026Location: Sunderland, SR11 1EYRate: £20.00 per hourDuration: Approximately 2 weeksIf you are an experienced Telehandler Operator available from 24 September and interested in this approximately 2-week position, please get in touch for further information.If you are interested please reply or call on 01914661355.JBRP1_UKTJ
