Job Description: · Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs in accordance with manufacturer's procedures. · Carry out running repairs to defected vehicles and trailers. · Completing thorough safety checks and preparing vehicles for MOT. · Working to DVSAVOSA standards and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness. · Following company processes by completing all relevant paperwork. · Working alongside your direct leader to assist in forward planning, service Rota's, day to day running of the VMU also providing cover in their absence.
Job Requirements: · Technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician) · Proven work experience in servicing and maintenance of large goods vehicles. · LGV CE Preferred.· Good team player working in a small group. · Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. · Problem solving skills. · Ability to work on own initiative. · Ensuring H&S and Environmental regulations are adhered to.
