About the Business
An opportunity to be an Accounting Manager for an excellent technology business in Tamworth. The business is part of a multi-£billion group which operates globally.
Main Duties:
As an Accounting Manager , your main duties include:
Be a key part of the business reporting function
Lead and develop a team of 2 direct reports
Involvement in the production and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packs
Key management of overheads, reporting and margin
Supporting the Head of Management Reporting with day-to-day management
Processing and reviewing month-end posting
Maintaining detailed balance sheet reconciliations
Production and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with variance analysis
Responding to queries from internal and external auditors
Enquiries and analysis pertaining to VAT and Corporation tax
Improving financial controls and month close procedures
Ad hoc duties as required
Location / Office / Culture
The role is hybrid, with two or three days a week in the office and the rest at home.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
ACA or ACCA qualifications
Experience with FMCG, logistics, technology or a multisite businesses
An ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in managing a team
