Admin Officer - Secondary School
Location: Plaistow, East London
Hours: Full-time, 8:30am - 4:12pm (some flexibility available)
Pay: £15 - £18 per hour, depending on experience
Parking: Available
Start: ASAP
Remedy Education is working with a Secondary PRU in Plaistow looking for an experienced and confident Admin Officer to join their team.
This is more than a standard school admin role, with some leadership responsibility involved , so we need someone who has plenty of common sense, uses their initiative and is comfortable taking ownership when needed.
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous school administration experience
Be confident using CPOMS and Bromcom - experience with SIMS will also be considered
Be organised, proactive and able to use their own initiative
Have a confident, strong personality and communicate well with staff, pupils and parents
Be able to follow instructions while also knowing when to take responsibility
Be comfortable working within a busy Secondary PRU environment
Have strong general IT and administrative skills
Experience within PRU, SEMH, Alternative Provision or Secondary education would be highly beneficial.
