Support Worker Based in the outskirts of Ruthin in the village of Cyffyliog (Driver Essential) About the Role: We're on the lookout for a caring, down-to-earth Support Worker to assist a sociable and independent client with muscular dystrophy both at home and out in the community. In this role, youll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract as care packages can change. Heres what he says about the kind of support hes looking for: Im all about getting out and making the most of life whether thats catching a gig, flying my drone, enjoying a pint at the pub, or watching the latest blockbuster. I need someone reliable, friendly, and up for joining in. Flexibility is key... especially when the music calls. What you'll be working: 2 day shifts a week available (we do have more shifts in packages nearby to boost hours if interested) 8am - 6pm Flexibility to work extra shifts if required In this role, youll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client. What we're looking for: Has hands-on care experience, and you understand what it means to be there when it matters most. Your nature is gentle, your patience long, and your communication clearsomeone who connects with compassion and listens with intent. Flexible and reliable, ready to adapt when plans shift, and you carry your sense of humour with you even on the busiest of days.
