The Role

You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding, repair and commissioning of:

• Fire Alarm Systems
• Intruder Alarm Systems
• CCTV Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Other electronic security systems maintained by the business

Working across commercial and residential properties, you'll play a key role in ensuring our clients' systems remain fully operational, compliant, and effective.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain and repair fire and security systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits.
• Diagnose faults and efficiently repair systems.
• Test fire alarm systems and associated components.
• Complete all service documentation and electronic reports accurately.
• Ensure all systems comply with current industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical advice and support to customers.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every visit.
• Participate in the out-of-hours standby and call-out rota.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and attend urgent customer requirements.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Experience working with fire alarm and/or electronic security systems.
• Ability to fault find and repair a range of system types and manufacturers.
• Strong understanding of maintenance and service procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to pass relevant background screening checks.

Desirable:

• FIA, BS5839, NSI, SSAIB or manufacturer certifications.
• Experience with Access Control and CCTV systems.
• Knowledge of current fire and security industry regulations.
• Training can be provided for the right candidate.
