Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services. We’re proud to be a key partner on the Caledonia Water Alliance and will successfully and safely work with Scottish Water to jointly deliver SR21, a six-year water and wastewater infrastructure pan Scotland capital investment programme.
You’ll be driving the successful delivery of projects by providing technical solutions for the electrical element of CWA projects. To ensure efficiency, you will work in collaboration with all departments associated with the project delivery and the CWA management structure. Safety is paramount as you liaise with project stakeholders professionally and work progressively with the project team to achieve successful delivery. Working alongside the CWA Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) department, you will ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.
You will be responsible for managing the delivery of the electrical element of MEICA projects to agreed time, cost, and quality requirements. Your day-to-day activities will include liaising with subcontractors providing technical interpretation of drawings, issuing tender packages, and compiling project documentation. You will work with the MEICA delivery team to ensure that client and business needs are being met.
