The role
A well ranked Kent law firm is looking for a Legal Secretary to join their Personal Injury team on a part time basis. This individual will be responsible for supporting fee earners within the team with secretarial duties, including but not limited to:
Typing correspondence and other written communications, word processing and typing from documentation or audio dictation.
Diary management for fee earners, including booking of meeting rooms
Undertaking file closing activities
Assisting with billings such as putting together billing guides and submitting invoices for payment
Maintaining accurate time records
Undertake any other reasonable tasks or duties as and when required by the team or senior management.
Liaising with clients via email and phone and taking relevant and clear messages.
The Personal Injury team is made up of 1 partner, a senior associate, legal executives and assistants, and the role will be to support the whole team on a wide range of interesting work.
