Hotel Operations Manager - Branded Hotel | Wiltshire | c£43,000-£45,000 + Management Bonus + Benefits
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join a well-established branded hotel in Wiltshire , operating as part of the IHG Hotels & Resorts portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished hotel operator who enjoys being hands-on, visible and commercially focused. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operation of the hotel, ensuring consistently high standards across Front Office, Housekeeping and Food & Beverage , while working closely with the senior management team to deliver a strong guest experience and commercial performance.
The ideal candidate will come from a branded hotel background within the UK , with a strong all-round understanding of hotel operations and the ability to lead, communicate and engage effectively at every level.

The Role

Support the senior management team in the day-to-day running of the hotel
Take operational responsibility across Front Office, Housekeeping and Food & Beverage
Ensure consistently high standards of guest service, presentation and operational delivery
Lead, coach and develop department heads and operational teams
Maintain strong communication between departments and ensure clear operational standards
Monitor guest feedback and take proactive action to improve the overall guest experience
Support the delivery of commercial targets across rooms, F&B and other revenue streams
Work closely with the Revenue and Sales teams to maximise occupancy, ADR and overall hotel performance
Ensure brand standards and operating procedures are consistently maintained
Take responsibility for Health & Safety, compliance and operational procedures
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training and employee development
Manage operational challenges effectively and provide practical solutions
Be a highly visible presence within the hotel, engaging positively with guests and colleagues
Support projects, initiatives and business improvements as required

About You

Proven experience in a Hotel Operations Manager, Deputy General Manager, Hotel Manager or similar operational leadership role
Ideally from a branded hotel background within the UK
Strong all-round operational knowledge across Rooms and Food & Beverage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A confident and visible leader who can motivate and develop teams
Commercially aware with a good understanding of hotel performance
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment
Able to build strong relationships with guests, colleagues and senior stakeholders
A hands-on, practical approach with the ability to lead from the front
Experience of working within recognised brand standards would be highly advantageous
A genuine passion for delivering an excellent guest experience

Package

c£43,000-£45,000 basic salary , depending on experience
