Key Responsibilities

Working as part of the kitchen team, you will help deliver a high standard of food and service across a busy school catering operation.

Prepare and serve food to a high standard
Support the kitchen team across daily service
Work across the hot counter service for up to 400 covers
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
Follow food safety and allergen procedures
Work effectively across the rotating shift pattern

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar catering environment and be confident working as part of a busy team.

Previous experience as a Chef or Chef de Partie
Enhanced DBS issued within the last 3 months or registered on the Update Service
Good understanding of food hygiene and safety
Available Monday to Friday with 1 in 3 weekends
Able to drive due to the location
Flexible approach to the rotating shift patternThe Monday to Friday shifts rotate weekly between 07:30-14:30, 10:00-18:00 and 11:30-19:00. Weekend shifts are 10:00-18:30.
