I’m currently recruiting for an experiencedCloud Architectto join a major cloud transformation and application modernisation programme within a leadingfinancial services organisation.

This is a hands-on architecture role, working acrossAzure and GCPto modernise legacy applications, support core banking transformation and drive adoption of secure, cloud-native technologies.

Rate: Inside IR35

Duration: Initial 6 months

Location: Hybrid in Central London

What you’ll be doing:

Define and deliverAzure & GCP cloud architecturesand reference patterns

Lead application migration and modernisation acrossrehost, re-platform, refactor and cloud-nativeapproaches

DriveTerraform / Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, Kubernetes and cloud-native adoption

Define standards aroundnetworking, IAM, security, monitoring, resilience and DR

Provide technical leadership and present architecture decisions to senior stakeholders and governance forums

Key experience:

Senior Architect within technology, with5+ years in Cloud Architecture

Strong hands-on experience acrossMicrosoft Azure and GCP

(Ideally) Azure:Landing Zones, AKS, App Services, Functions, API Management and Networking

(Ideally) GCP:GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, VPC & IAM

StrongTerraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD and cloud-native architectureexperience

Proven experience delivering transformation programmes withinbanking or regulated financial services

Understanding of **operational resilience, cloud security,
