Job Description

Technical Administrator Location: On-site

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: 12-month contract

About the Role Morson are recruiting on behalf of a leading Aerospace and Defence client for a Technical Administrator to support the accurate management, organisation and maintenance of technical documentation and records.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual with previous administrative or clerical experience to join a highly regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities Upload, manage and maintain digital files and data.

Organise, archive and retrieve technical records and documentation.

Scan, copy and distribute paperwork as required.

Check, update and correct documents, forms and digital records.

Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems.

Process requests for files and data and maintain appropriate tracking records.

Create new files, forms and templates to support data entry and document management.

Ensure confidential and sensitive information is securely maintained.

Carry out accurate data entry, typing and document processing.

Operate standard office equipment and support general administrative activities.

Identify opportunities to improve filing, document storage and administrative processes.

Work with relevant personnel and storage providers to ensure documents are safely archived and retained in line with company procedures.

Knowledge & Experience Previous experience working in an office or administrative environment.

Previous clerical or document management experience.

Experience using file-keeping systems or cloud storage is desirable.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard administrative software.

Skills & Attributes Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

Accurate typing, word-processing and data-entry skills.

High levels of integrity, discretion and confidentiality.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage information accurately and efficiently.

A methodical approach to maintaining records and documentation.
