The school are a dedicated team seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join them as a SEND Support Assistant to work across school and alongside the SEND team.

Role Overview: As a SEND Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the diverse needs of our students, contributing to their academic and personal development. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of relevant school-based experience and a genuine passion for working with pupils with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.

Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to implement Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs).

Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Assist in the planning and delivery of differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.

Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of school-based experience, preferably as a Teaching Assistant.

Strong understanding of special educational needs and disabilities.

Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
