Engineering Project Manager Telford Permanent £55,000 - £60,000 + Car An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful and growing engineering and automation business as an Engineering Project Manager. We're looking for a highly organised, proactive individual who thrives on driving projects forward, coordinating multiple stakeholders and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. Managing projects from order through to final customer acceptance, you'll act as the key link between customers and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards. The role also offers occasional international travel to support installations and customer acceptance activities worldwide. Key Responsibilities: Manage engineering and automation projects from order receipt to completion Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle Coordinate Engineering, Operations and Support teams to achieve project milestones Prepare and manage project schedules, documentation and progress reports Lead customer review meetings and provide regular updates Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) Support installation, commissioning and final acceptance activities Monitor project costs and budgets Drive actions and ensure projects stay on track International travel Skills and experience required: Experience managing customer projects within a technical or engineering environment Strong written and verbal communication Strong planning, organisation and project coordination skills Confident customer-facing communicator Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders Technical understanding of engineering projects Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office Willingness to travel internationally as required Experience Working with international customers BENG/Meng / HNC / HND would be advantageous The application process: Our mission is to support our clients in their creation of an equal, diverse and inclusive workforce.
