This will include the development, verification, and ongoing support of complex subsystems.The role will help prioritise the engineering team activities and resources in order to get projects to completion within schedule and to an agreed level of maturity. You’ll support the programme management function in the identification and management of risk throughout the lifecycle, ensuring that the project deliverables meet both business and customer requirements.You’ll also develop the capabilities of engineers by coaching and sharing your knowledge, promoting continuous professional development and creating an environment that encourages innovation and continual improvement. As a senior engineering team member, you’ll communicate effectively and professionally with internal colleagues, external customers and subcontractors.Manage a team of engineers including Principle Engineers, Senior Engineers to Graduate Engineers.Motivate all team members and ensure that a suitably qualified resource profile exists.
