Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for an Online Tutor. The Online Tutor will provide one-on-one tutoring services to learners across various age groups and academic levels. They will work with learners to help them develop skills, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals. This role is located in Phoenix, AZ, with flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Experience working as a tutor or teacher with a proven track record of helping learners achieve their academic goals
Must be a UK citizen by birth with valid documentation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with a diverse range of learners and adapt tutoring strategies as needed
Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject matter, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple learners and prioritize tasks effectively
Experience using online teaching platforms and tools, including video conferencing, screen sharing, and interactive whiteboards
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
Compensation
Average hourly rate: USD 30
