Working across a wide range of administrative, reporting and coordination activities, you'll ensure that critical information, systems and processes are managed efficiently and accurately.

This is far more than a traditional administration role. You'll be at the heart of our Safety, Health, Environment and Security (SHES) function, supporting incident management, regulatory reporting, business communications and performance reporting. From managing key data and producing insightful reports to coordinating meetings and maintaining essential records, you'll help our teams make informed decisions and deliver against business objectives.

You'll build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, providing excellent customer service and acting as a trusted point of contact. Whether you're coordinating meetings, supporting safety communications, maintaining SharePoint sites or helping drive process improvements, your contribution will directly support the safe and effective operation of our network.

Why you'll love this role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team where your organisation, attention to detail and initiative will have a genuine impact.

  • Variety Every Day – Support a diverse range of activities including reporting, incident management, communications, meetings and stakeholder engagement.
  • Make a Difference – Play an important role in supporting safety processes and ensuring compliance with key regulatory requirements.
  • Build Strong Networks – Collaborate with teams across Safety & Engineering, Operational Delivery, Asset Management and external stakeholders.
  • Develop Your Skills – Gain exposure to specialist systems, reporting tools and continuous improvement initiatives while broadening your technical and administrative expertise.
  • Drive Improvement – Help identify efficiencies, improve processes and contribute to a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.

What you'll bring

You'll be a highly organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality support.

  • Strong Administrative Experience – Previous experience providing comprehensive administrative support, managing records and coordinating multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Excellent Organisation Skills – Able to prioritise workloads, manage competing deadlines and maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Reporting & Data Management Experience – Confidence in collating, analysing and presenting data through reports, spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Stakeholder Management Skills – Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with a customer-focused approach.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset – A willingness to challenge existing processes, identify efficiencies and support positive change.
  • Relevant Qualifications – GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths alongside previous administration experience.
