Job Description

Stratton Mills is an employment business that provides Manufacturing Personnel across the UK. We have a great opportunity for Assembly Operative. Successful candidates will be offered full-time shifts on a temp to permanent basis.
Breakdown of the Assembly Operative Role:

• Products: Military, train & buses chairs
• Salary: £12.80 per hour
• Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
• Immediate Start
• Location: Leicester, LE7

Duties for the Assembly Operative Role:
• Ability to use electric drills, air tools, hammers, screwdrivers & assembling equipment
• Heavy lifting as part of assembling seats to drawing specifications
• Take responsibility for tools and equipment issued, raising any issues to the Team Leader
• Follow Team Leaders instruction regarding the Production schedule, but remain able to work independently highlighting any issues to Team Leader

Ideal Assembly Operative Candidate:
• Minimum 3 years of previous experience with any type of assembly lines or fittings.
• Previous experience in seat assembly or any bedroom fittings, kitchen fittings
• Aptitude to assemble parts and bits
