Data Administrator/Inventory Executive

Pay Rate: £13.45/hr

Location: North of York (Car required)

Job Type: Temporary (9 months), Hybrid (2 mandatory days in office)

Working Hours: 30-37.5 hours per week

We are currently hiring a Data Administrator for our client, where you will play a crucial role in interpreting and inputting contract rates and other cost information from suppliers into our data structure. This position is based in a beautiful, remote setting in York and requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organisational and analytical skills.

Day-to-day of the role:

Interpret and input contract rates and other cost information from suppliers such as hotels and transport operators into the company’s data structure to accurately reflect the cost base.

Create new records and entry fields as necessary, considering downstream processes and the consequences of new items.

Update and create holiday itineraries accurately and timely, ensuring all on-sale holidays are presented accurately to internal and external customers.

Communicate and respond to data and procedural questions from around the business.

Use reporting tools created in Power BI and Excel to provide insights and manage workflow.

Collaborate effectively with the team and other departments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong organisational skills.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with database entry and comfortable using Microsoft Excel.

Rigorous and methodical approach to handling a large volume of data entry.

Logical mind with an acute eye for detail, inaccuracy, and inconsistency.

Able to manage variable workloads effectively and meet key deadlines.
