About the Support Worker role:

You don’t need to have previous experience working in care or support to be successful in this role. What matters are your values, your passion and determination to make a difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities.

You Must be willing to work Friday, Saturday and Sundays including sleep over shifts.

Support customers with personal care

Medication administration

Support to attend health & medical appointments

Support to maintain home environment: Cleaning/laundry

Support with preparation of meals and cooking

Support with independent living skills

Support to access the community for activities and shopping

Carry out key working duties which includes updating support plans, risk assessments and support guidelines.

Able to work a variety of shifts including, mornings, evenings, weekends and sleep ins.

Skills and experience of our ideal Support Worker:

Adopt a flexible approach to their work

Be a Team Player

Effective communication skills in written and spoken English
